Terry Eden Best has resided in South Florida and been a banker since 1974. During his career, Mr. Best has held several executive positions, including President & CEO as well as Chief Financial Officer of banks and bank holding companies. In addition to a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Long Island University , Mr. Best graduated from the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Colorado . Mr. Best brings 30 years of banking experience to the Bank of Coral Gables. Mr. Best and his wife live in Coral Springs and their children and grandchildren live in nearby Pinecrest and in Colorado Springs. He and his family are avid Golden Retriever owners, and are particularly involved in Golden Retriever rescue organizations in South Florida and in other parts of the United States. |

Ela M. Rivero-Prieto, a resident of Pinecrest, directs operations and production for the Bank’s Commercial, Residential and Consumer Loans. Ela has over 25 years experience in banking in the Coral Gables and surrounding market area. Ela has been a member of the Board of Directors for The Learning Experience School for over 14 years as well as a Board Member for Magnetic Theatricals. |

Patricia J. Grimm ,
who brings more than 30 years of extensive banking experience to the Bank, is the senior officer responsible for the daily operations of the Bank. As well as Deposit Operations, Pat coordinates the Bank’s Information Technology, security, facilities management and other areas. In addition to similar positions with other South Florida financial institutions, she was an integral part of the organizing group of another de novo banking institution and remained with the bank until it was acquired, 13 years later. Patricia resides in Sunrise and is a Board Member of the South Florida Banking Institute. |

Mayling V. Garcia, Senior Vice President and Bank Secrecy Officer, has almost 25 years of banking experience, and is responsible for the Bank Secrecy Act/Anti Money Laundering Compliance sector of the bank. Prior to joining Bank of Coral Gables Mayling held similar positions in risk management, including AML/BSA compliance, consumer compliance, corporate security as well as managing special projects including system conversions and bank acquisitions Mayling has resided in Miami Springs for over 30 years and is very involved in helping her community by being a part of Liga Contra El Cancer, March of Dimes, American Heart Institute and helping the local churches collect toys and food for the less fortunate. |

Felipe Mejia, Senior Vice President and Controller of the Bank, brings over 20 years of experience from both international and domestic banking operations. His experience covers the areas of controllership, operations and financial systems. Felipe lived in Nicaragua and Brazil for 20 years and now resides in Kendall with his wife and four children. Prior to joining Bank of Coral Gables, Felipe was controller for a Portuguese conglomerate of several financial institutions, managing the accounting, tax, and regulatory reporting areas. |
